WinGD engine training
GigaMare is an authorized training partner of Winterthur Gas & Diesel in the Philippines, offering WinGD and RT-Flex simulator training.
GigaMare's training center is accredited by Winterthur Gas & Diesel which means we are officially approved by WinGD to deliver training on their engines.
Our instructors are certified by WinGD to teach courses related to the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of WinGD engines.

Wärtsilä simulators & engines
Our four ship bridge simulators and two engine room simulators all use state-of-the-art Wärtsilä programs including NTPRO 6, NTPRO 5000 and ERS TechSim 9, fully compliant with IMO and STCW requirements.
Additionally we have a DNV GL-ST-0033 compliant LCHS TechSim 9, Wärtsilä cloud simulation access for remote training and a work-in-progress portable bridge simulator using NTPRO 6.
Our engine hall contains several Wärtsilä engines including complete generator sets for practical hands-on training.
Marina accreditation
GigaMare training center is formally recognized by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) to be compliant with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW).
Our training courses have been evaluated to deliver quality maritime education and training with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, instructors and curricula.
Our instructors and assessors are also MARINA-accredited and meet national maritime education standards set by the Maritime Industry Authority of the Philippines.
Traficom accreditation
GigaMare´s EU department is officially accredited by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom). Our courses, in cooperation with Aboa Mare, have been approved to meet Finnish national and international standards within the maritime, transport and communication sectors.
We meet strict Finnish and EU quality standards set by Traficom with our course content, instructors and assessment methods. Certificates are recognized in Finland and widely across the EU.
