Participants will have basic knowledge of WinGD’s electronically controlled dual-fuel engine. Particular focus is put on the gas / fuel system, engine control system, UNIC, for the X-DF engines and the integration into the vital engine systems (i.e. fuel injection, liquid and gas fuel system, servo oil and cylinder lubrication, etc.).

After completing this training, the personnel are familiar with the procedures when performing maintenance on diesel engine. The personnel are familiar with fundamental safety aspects, tools and equipment.

This course will provide shipboard marine engineers, electrical officers, and shore side marine management (at all levels) with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge regarding fire detection system.

Upon completion of the course, the trainees should be able to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Vacuum Toilet System and its related equipment. Participants of the VTS Course will be trained using similar installation and equipment you can find on board (cruise) ships.

Participants will learn WinGD’s electronically controlled engine features and deepen their knowledge on engine components and functionality of all engine systems.

Upon completion of the course, the trainees should understand the safety requirements when working on shipboard electrical equipment.

This course provides education and training to all seafarers responsible for designated safety duties associated with the care, use and emergency
response of vessels using fuels within the IGF Code.

After completing this training, the participants will be familiar with various auxiliaries found in the ship and power plant’s engine room.

After completing the course, the participants should be familiar with the main components of an electronic engine (including mechanical and hydraulic-pneumatics).
