Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
  • Registered Psychometrician is an advantage
  • Familiarity with maritime training programs and certification processes
  • Extensive experience conducting technical assessments and practical tests
  • Strong interview and candidate evaluation skills
  • An extroverted and people-oriented personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficient in MS Office and other office productivity tools
  • Knowledge of different recruitment strategies and sourcing campaigns


Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified cadet candidates
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ technical knowledge, aptitude, and cultural fit
  • Build strong partnerships with universities, colleges, and maritime institutions
  • Screen resumes and applications and shortlist qualified candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule technical assessments for candidates
  • Provide detailed evaluation feedback and recommendations to hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate progress documentation
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Stay updated with industry trends and maritime recruitment best practices
  • Represent the company at job fairs, marine academy events, and industry activities
  • Coordinate training logistics and assist trainees from arrival to departure
  • Maintain participant lists and update ERP training records
  • Prepare training certificates and manage documentation, stamps, and courier dispatch
  • Process purchase orders and verify invoices against approved orders
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Support colleagues with projects and operational tasks when required
